About
I am a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist based in Petaluma, CA, currently completing my doctoral studies at Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine College in Berkeley. I practice part-time at Pivot Acupuncture in Fairfield and part-time in Novato, bringing integrative care to communities across the North Bay.
My approach is deeply personal — every patient brings a unique story, and I am here to listen, assess, and create a treatment plan that honors that individuality. I specialize in palliative and integrative care, with clinical experience treating high blood pressure, anxiety, stress, insomnia, skin conditions, pain and neurological conditions, fatigue, and cold-pattern presentations. I have a particular passion for men's health and sports injuries — as an active person myself, I understand how important it is to feel strong and capable in your body.
My Path To Acupuncture
"I chose acupuncture after attending yoga school in Pennsylvania, where I first discovered Ayurveda and yogic medicine. Then I moved to California — originally to work at a senior retirement community — and met my acupuncturist in Novato."
She treated me with needles and cups, and I became fascinated by the herbs and the entire healing process. Her encouragement led me to pursue formal training, and I now have the honor of treating her every so often — a full-circle moment I cherish. In 2021, I published my first book, Talks with the Source, a philosophical text with affirmations for daily enjoyment and reflection
Philosophy & approach
Diet, lifestyle, and the mind-body connection are central to my practice. I love matching herbal formulas to tongue and pulse diagnostics, and tailoring every formula to the individual. Everyone carries unique gifts and experiences, and I approach each session with curiosity and genuine warmth.
I am thrilled to be part of the Pivot Acupuncture team in Fairfield, surrounded by exceptional colleagues and a wonderfully diverse community of clients. I learn from every person I work with, and that exchange of knowledge and humanity is what makes this work so meaningful.

Beyond The Clinic
Originally from Pennsylvania — home of the Liberty Bell, Amish country, and legendary cheesesteaks — I now love the warmth and diversity of California. I stay connected to the community through downtown life, local events, networking, and volunteering within and beyond my field. When I am not in the clinic, you'll find me at the gym, in the sauna, or spending quality time in nature (or on the couch) with my wife Tania and our cat, Rocky.
